So often we get focused on our own circumstances, our own pursuit of happiness that we forget that happiness comes in so many forms. Contentment is something we experience even when things are not perfect.
Happiness is so much more attainable when we are busy being about our Father's business. We begin to see His blessings in our life and see His hand at work at all times.
You are right, happiness is a by-product of obedience and submission to our Father... people think happiness is a goal in and of itself but that just isn't true! I hope you are experiencing much happiness!
